PLEASE READ: Player Registration Rules UPDATE
* no longer active
Since we have had multiple people (only one succeeded, and was later caught) try to make an alternate account in Prime League, we must update the registration rules since they have shown us that our current rule wasn't good enough. Sorry to those who are completely innocent of this, don't consider yourself punished; we just have to do this to ensure that no one will alt into the league anymore.
You must now provide the following
Name:
FC (with picture proof):
Contact Information (optional, but recommended):
Location where you posted from (just a country with state/province will be fine):
Same goes for those of you who will be transferring teams anytime from now on, you must provide a picture of your 3DS FC & your location.
EXAMPLE:
Name: Brian
FC: 1349-4495-2647
Contact Information: b-catz (Skype)
Location where you posted from: U.S. (New Jersey)
NOTE: I still have to discuss this with the other admins, but I'm sure they'll agree with this.

Thank you. I fully agree with this. I am getting annoyed by the many alts in this League.

Lmfao...btw...Why is cB2 in Div C rather than SP...?
Also, you should know that none of this will stop people from alting...It's so easy and any competent person can still easily do it.

Re: PLEASE READ: Player Registration Rules UPDATE
Seriously, what's even the problem here?
Let me quote the following official PL rules:
QUOTE:
Unregistered Players
20. Any player caught playing for a team that they are not registered for will be banned for the rest of the season. Furthermore, their points for every match they participated in while being an unregistered player will be disqualified. Gentlemen's agreements are allowed for teams who have not yet registered for the team or are apart of the clan's 2nd team, no other exceptions. See rule 11 for gentlemen's agreements.
Player Registration & Multi-Teaming
21c. Players may only participate for one team at a time. Players caught registered for multiple teams at once by using alternate accounts and other people's FC's will be banned for the rest of the season, as well as the following season.
21d. Evidence found that a team was aware of a multi-teaming player participating for them will have all points from that player disqualified for all matches the multi-teaming player participated in. Furthermore, the team will receive a warning. Teams who break this rule twice will be banned for the remainder of the current season as well as the following season.
//QUOTE
I think these rules solve all problems. If those rules are actually applied (which they should be, though I know PL rules aren't always taken too seriously, even by the admins), any player who uses alts in order to violate any of those rules will be penalized, as well as the team he/she cheated for.
As of the FC Picture idea. I don't think this solves anything for several reasons:
1. Literally everyone can find someone with a 3DS who is not registered for PL and who is willing to take a Pic of his/her FC and send it to the player who wants to alt in PL.
2. People have been known to photoshop pics in order to change letters and numbers in a pic. Idk if anyone would go so far just in order to alt in PL, but if so, I don't think anyone could be asked to check all hundreds of FCs for fakes. So it probably would not be caught at all.
3. Asking every single player to provide pics is a huge and time-consuming task. There are probably people registered for PL who visit this website maybe once a month, maybe even less. It seems almost impossible to enforce that rule.
EDIT: 4. Also, you can still alt if you use the name of a player who is actually rightfully registered for the team you want to alt for. If player X of clan Y can't play one day, I can just make a '[Y] X' Mii and play for him.
The idea is good, I just don't think it will solve the problem and it might thus not be worth the effort. As our alting specialists above have pointed out, if someone really wants to alt, he/she is going to find a way.
