Week 2 - Summary
Rescheduled Week 1 Summaries:
Airstrikers 254
vs
198 Galactic Riders
Airstrikers have an impressive season opener with a +56 win over Gr. Every GP went A's way, though Gr had a few d/c's. Wolf takes MVP with 82.
Week 2
Wii Elite Clan 227
vs
221 Champi Brothers
Wii Elite Clan edged out the prior champs by 6 in a close early season match. WEC had an impressive GP2 which was enough to secure the win despite losing the other 2 GPs. Nizer MVP'd with 78 to take 1st on the MVP table, and CB getting the bonus point makes this division look rather tight to start.
High Definition 238
vs
220 High Definition 2
HD beat out their other squad in a close inner clan war. Each GP was rather close and no clear winner was decided late into GP3. Rayze MVP'd this war with 70, and everyone seemed to score in the same range, meaning everyone in the match were pretty evenly matched. HD2 is looking for revenge on week 7.
Killer Apps 254
vs
214 Mushroom Road
Killer Apps plays an impressive week 2 to show they'll be a serious threat this season and that they're as tough as ever, winning by a large margin of 40 to boost that all important +/-. They also got the bonus on week 1, so they're setting close behind first in the division with a match against the current leaders next week. Aspyk from Mushroom Road MVP'd the war with a score of 76.
Charged Brigade 251
vs
203 Galactic Riders
Charged Brigade puts up their 2nd 250+ point match this week to start off the division with a 2-0 and an impressive +/- of 100+ after just 2 weeks. They'be already win 2 Division B titles including 1 10-0, so we'll have to see if anyone plans to stop them from another. Omen got the top score of the match with 72.
Airstrikers 243
vs
215 Melee X
The Airstrikers start off 2-0 with an impressive last GP comeback against Melee X. The first half of the war seemed to belong to Me, but a GP3 of a +42 gain is something hard to win against. Wolf MVPs the war with just 67, hinting that this was a tight match. All scores from both teams were within a 16 point range. They also have a rather impressive 2 week +/- score. Though it's not a +/- of 100, it's something rather close. Airstrikers war Charged Brigade next week, arguably the most anticipated war of the season so far.
World Friend 254
vs
191 Axis
World Friend banks their first win of the season with the largest points margin of the week. Every wf member contributed in this war, as all 4 players scored over 60, 3 of which got 62. Shadow scored 68, and takes MVP of the war.
Rainbow of Karts 243
vs
195 Water Army
Here's a result not many people expected- a huge win for RK to make their lead of the division even higher. Link scored a ridiculously high score of 91, which I'm assuming will go into the record books. Too bad I'm too lazy to check if it actually does, as this is my last war report to make and I kind of want to finish (honesty is good, isn't it?), you'd have to inform me.
Anyway that's it for this week. Thanks for reading!
